FEELING STRESSED? NEED TO TALK? DON'T KNOW WHERE TO TURN? MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TODAY WITH A MILITARY AND FAMILY LIFE CONSULTANT!


Contract consultants serve at military bases on a 60 day rotational basis. The consultants are fully qualified to provide intervention services for individuals or groups. They provide short term, situational, problem-solving counseling services to service members and their families. Any Andersen military or family member can use these services. Short-term, non-medical counseling is available for up to 12 sessions. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call 689-0526.


These sessions can be held at the Airman & Family Readiness Center or at a public place (i.e. food court). The sessions are confidential with the exception of mandatory reporting like domestic violence, suicidal or homicidal ideations, imminent threats of harm or damage to government property and Personnel Reliability Program status. The consultant can assist with work-related stress, deployment issues, relationships, parenting, transitions, combat stress, and much more.

The Airman & Family Readiness Center located in bldg. 21000 has FREE classes scheduled monthly. All classes will be held in the Airman & Family Readiness Center Classroom except as noted. Please call 366-8136 to register for classes or obtain further information.
